My wife and I showed up to the Dr. Phillips Center in Orlando, FL to witness the biggest bboy battle in the United States: The Red Bull BC One North American Finals. About three thousand spectators came out to see the top sixteen bboys in North America battle their hearts out for the chance to represent the region in the Red Bull BC One World Finals which will take place in Rome later this year. Kissimmee native and defending champion, Vicious Victor, came out on top after a long and tedious string of battles to become the first bboy to win the North American title two years in a row. It was an honor to be in the presence of so many talented dancers and a pleasure to see hip hop legends Sway, Phife Dawg (A Tribe Called Quest), DJ Grandmaster Flash, and DJ Charlie Chase in the flesh. This is definitely an experience we will never forget. Best of luck to Victor as he moves on to the world finals and big thank you to Mex One for getting us up on the stage to enjoy the view.
